P.L.E.D.G.E is a parent/caregiver led group that will prioritize equity work driven by the caregiver community, with an emphasis on access to transparent information, POC lead analysis, and finding solutions to the school’s equity needs. .

Mission

P.L.E.D.G.E intends to gather community input and use CPS public data to identify areas of opportunity around equity at Chicago schools. The areas of opportunity identified will inform the school’s administration and the school’s CIWP in the identification of strategic solutions to strengthen equitable outcomes for students.

Vision

To be a standing Local School Council committee influencing equity work at Chicago schools. This committee will be the needle that threads all of the equity work together at the school and will be a standing committee that will be both a bridge and a platform for traditionally marginalized groups.
